Altium 365 is where electronics teams design: schematics and layout, component selection during design, libraries, managed BOMs, and the design-time context around the parts they choose — including lifecycle, compliance, supplier, and sourcing information.
PCNshark picks up when a component your products already use changes lifecycle state. When the supplier PCN, PDN, EOL, or NRND document arrives: extract and verify the affected parts and dates, see the impact across every BOM, evaluate the manufacturer's recommended replacement and spec-ranked alternates (Team plans and above), check distributor sourcing estimates, and record the component decision with its evidence and history.
Available on Starter and Team. A payment method is required.
PCNshark complements Altium 365. It does not replace PCB design, managed BOMs, parts-used visibility, lifecycle data, compliance information, supplier data, BOM releases, or sourcing analysis.
No native Altium 365 integration is implied. PCNshark works from the BOM files you upload and the notices you receive; there is no automatic sync with Altium.
Seeing that a part is EOL, NRND, obsolete, or otherwise risky is an important signal. The supplier document may contain additional information required for action:
PCNshark keeps that source document, extracted information, BOM impact, owners, and final response connected.
Altium helps teams design products with components. PCNshark helps teams manage what happens after those components change lifecycle state. Adjacent stages, not competing tools.
Electronics design and component selection during design
Lifecycle events for components already in production use
Libraries, ECAD projects, managed BOMs, design releases
PCN and EOL evidence, cross-BOM impact, deadlines
Lifecycle and sourcing visibility on parts in designs and managed BOMs
The verified contents of the actual supplier notice
Component selection and design trade-offs
Lifecycle-triggered alternate evaluation, sourcing context, component decisions
Design history, BOM releases and comparison
Per-part decision history: who, when, what changed, why
Use Altium 365 to design with the right components. Use PCNshark to manage the lifecycle events that reach those components after the design ships.
Record acceptance and disposition
Take the reviewed impact into your PLM/change process
PCNshark does not connect to Altium 365. It works from the BOM files you upload and the notices you receive, and a person takes the reviewed impact into whatever change or quality process you use.
An illustrative product change notification with a supplier qualification report. Sample data — not a screenshot of a native integration.
Illustrative example. Customer, supplier, product, and BOM information has been replaced. Not every notice requires a design change; PCNshark still preserves the review and disposition.

Notice and disposition together
PCNshark does not replace Altium's design, managed-BOM, lifecycle, compliance, or sourcing capabilities. It manages the lifecycle events that affect components your products already use.
PCNshark currently works alongside Altium 365 rather than acting as a native Altium integration.
Teams can upload supported BOM files to PCNshark, process supplier notices, identify notice-specific BOM impact, and reference the resulting record during their Altium, PLM, quality, or change process.
PCNshark does not read from or write to Altium 365. There is no API sync today.
PCNshark complements these by managing lifecycle events for the components your products already use — the notice, the cross-BOM impact, the alternate evaluation, and the recorded decision.
Keep using Altium 365 to design and understand your BOMs. Let PCNshark manage the lifecycle events that reach those components afterward: extract the affected parts and dates, match them across your BOMs, evaluate alternates and sourcing estimates, assign owners, and record the component decision.
